DANIEL 8:5: THE HE GOAT

Daniel 8:5 " And as I was considering behold an He goat came from the West. The He goat came forth on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground. The goat had a notable horn between his eyes." The He Goat notable horn between His Eyes was, Alexandra the Great; The He Goat was Alexandra the Great; As in Daniel 8:21 " And the rough goat is the King of Greece...The great horn that is between his eyes is the first King." The Greeks never united to form a National Government. They were united by a common Culture or Religion and Language. They counted, or considered anyone whose native language was Greek. 

 They counted them an ally even if they did not live in Greece. Alexandra the Great was the first King to rule the Nation as a Kingdom. Whereas before Alexandra, the Greek Nation or Kingdom had no Headquarters as a Head. A Head is a Written Law enforced by the Officers of the Kingdom. Alexandra Ruled the Kingdom by his Word and by his Army.  

                        THE FOUR KINGDOMS OF GREECE 

Daniel 8:8 " Therefore the He goat waxed very great. When he was strong, the great horn was broken. For it came up four notable ones toward the four wins of heaven." The Four Horns toward the four Winds were the Four Generals of Alexandra the Great.   

These Four Horns founded the Four Heads, or Four Kingdoms that came out of the Greek Nation. These Four Kingdoms were number                                                                          

Number (1) THE KINGDOM OF SELEUCUS.

Number (2) THE KINGDOM OF LYSIMACHUS.

Number (3) THE KINGDOM OF CASSANDER.

Number (4) THE KINGDOM OF PTOLEMY. 

These Four Kingdoms stood up, whereas Alexandra was broken, as in Daniel. Daniel 8:22 " Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it. Four Kingdoms shall stand up out the Nation..."   Daniel 8:9 " And out of one of them came forth a Little Horn. This little horn, waxed exceeding great, toward the South, toward the East, and toward the Pleasant Land." THE TWO LITTLE HORNS: There are Two Little Horns: (1) The First Little Horn came out of the Kingdom of SELEUCUS. The King of SELEUCUS was the King Antiochus IV. THE FIRST LITTLE HORN WAS ANTICHUS IV OF THE KINGDOM OF SELEUCUS

                                                                                                                     

The First Little Horn came out of the Third Beast which was the Greek Nation. The Four Horns, which was the Four Kingdoms that came out of the Greek Nation. As in Daniel 8:22 " Now that being broken whereas four Kingdoms shall stand up out of the Nation..." This was the Greek Nation. Number (1) THE KINGDOM OF SELEUCUS. Number (2) THE KINGDOM OF LYSIMACHUS. Number (3) THE KINGDOM OF CASSANDER. Number (4) THE KINGDOM OF PTOLEMY. In the latter Kingdoms of these Four, came forth this Little Horn. The Kingdom this Little Horn came out of was the Kingdom of Seleucus. The Little Horn that came out of this kingdom was the small Nation at that time, which was the Nation Syria. The King of this Little Nation at that time was when he cast down the Host of Heaven. This King at that time was Antiochus IV.

Daniel 8:9 " And out of one of them came forth a little horn. It waxed exceeding great toward the South, toward the East and toward the pleasant land." 

The Little Horn was a King over a Small Nation, just as the Small Nation: Vatican City. When Syria was strong toward the South, East, and Pleasant Land; this was during King SELEUCUS reign, as in Daniel. Daniel 8:24 " And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power. Not by his own power, meaning: this was done before Antiochus IV. Antiochus is the one that carried out the casting down of the host. The host was the Priest of the Temple in Jerusalem, and of the Laws of the Jewish Faith. endi  30.                                                     

THE CASTING DOWN OF THE HOST, AND STARS Daniel 8:10 " And it waxed great, even to the host of Heaven. It cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them."  The Host was the Children of Israel. The Stars was the Priesthood. The Stars are symbolic, meaning the Ministers of the Gospel. The Casting Down of the Priests and Host, this was very true of the King of the Little Horn. The Little Horn was Syria. The Casting down was true of the King of Syria, which was King Antiochus IV. Antiochus wanted the Jews to adopt Greek Culture, and Customs. Many of the Jews and Priests did accept Greek Culture. They accepted Greek Culture in so much, that they almost abolished their Jewish Religion.
