Daniel 11:6 "...The King's Daughter of the South..."  This was Cleopatra of Egypt.  Cleopatra  shall come to the King of the North.   The king of the North was OCTAVIUS. The idea was to make an agreement with Octavius.  She (Cleopatra) shall not retain the power of  Mark Anthony He will not be able to help Cleopatra.   They could not bring Egypt into the Roman Empire as a Partner. They could not stand, nor his army.   His arm: meaning Anthony's supporters. "... She (Cleopatra) was given up, and they that brought her..."  They that brought her ,was her People ,and He was Anthony that begot her.   This was Anthony that strengthened  her in this matter at this time.          Daniel 11:7 " But the shooting of her roots will one rise in his place.       new 43

                                THE SHOOTING OF HER ROOTS
Daniel 11:7 "But out of a branch of Her Roots..."  The Branch of Cleopatra's roots was her Son by Julius Caesar.        HE SHALL COME TO THE ARMY
Daniel 11:7 "... And he shall come to the Army.  He will enter into the King of the North' Fortress..."   This Army was the Army of Egypt: this way Ptolemy XIV came to the Army.   This was: (1) Ptolemy XII, He was defeated in a Battle, and drown trying to escape.
(2) Ptolemy XIII took the Throne, and Cleopatra had him put to death.  This was: so that Her Son by Julius Caesar could rule with her as Ptolemy XIV.
(3) He, Ptolemy XIV, and his Army did show power.  As Cleopatra and Mark Anthony conspired to achieve their ambitions.    
 Daniel 11:6 "...  But She shall be given up, and they that brought Her..."  They that brought Cleopatra was Her People, and supporters from Egypt.

Daniel 11:7 "But out of a branch of her roots..." The Branch of her Roots is Cleopatra's Son by Julius Caesar.    "...Out of her roots shall one stand up in his estate..."  His estate was PTOLEMY XI, of Egypt which shall come with an army.   The Army was the Army of PTOLEMY XIV, Cleopatra's SON by Julius Caesar.  "He shall enter into the fortress of the King of the North...."   The Fortress of the King of the North; this was the fortress of OCTAVIUS.  "...They shall deal against them..."  This is the People of the Roman Empire.    "...and they shall prevail."  
Daniel 11:8 " And shall also carry captives into Egypt with their gods  with their princes..."  The Princes was Cleopatra Queen of Egypt.   "...With their precious vessels of silver and of Gold..."   These vessels were the Vessels of the gods of Egypt.     45
