Revelation 17:7 " The Woman, and the beast that carried her..." (was the Holy Roman Empire) Revelation 17:15 "... The waters which you saw are the People..." THE DRAGON GAVE POWER UNTO THE BEAST: The waters where the (Woman) whore sits, are the People..." This is WHAT the Beast IS: People, Multitudes, Nations, and Tongues." This is where the Woman sits, which are the People Multitudes, Nations, and Tongues. of all Races. These were of the Holy Roman Empire, and Papal States. They Worshipped the Beast. They Worshipped the Beast meaning their Doctrines. They Worshipped the Beast meaning the adopted Religion of the Roman Empire, which was Catholicism.
You can not worship the Beast. The Beast is symbolic, meaning People, Multitudes, Nations, and Tongues. You can not Worship People, Nations and Tongues; but this means to worship with them.
WHAT IS THE BEAST: Revelation 17:15 "... The whore (Woman) Sits on a Beast..." Revelation 17:15 " The whore (Woman) sits on waters..." The waters where the whore (Woman) sits are People, Multitudes, Nations, and Tongues." The waters was the people of the Holy Roman Empire. This is the Beast, which are the People.
THE DRAGON GAVE POWER UNTO THE BEAST: The Beast is People, Nations, and Tongues. Revelation 13:4 " They worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast..." The Dragon was the Devil and Paganism in the Roman Empire. The worshiping the dragon was paganism that was in Catholicism. Their Religion and Worship of Paganism was common in the Roman Empire.
WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE WAR WITH HIM? Revelation 13:4 "... Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" No One was Able to Launch a Successful Attack upon the Roman Empire. No One was Able to Make War with Him.
TO CONTINUE FORTY AND TWO MONTHS: Revelation 13:5 " There was given unto him a Mouth. He spoke great things and blasphemies. Power was given unto him to continue forty, and Two Months." The Little Horn is Vatican City. The Forty-and Two Months was 1260 Years: taking a Day for a Year.
Daniel and Revelation Figures a Day for a Year symbolically. Revelation 13:5 "...forty and two months." To understand this figure a day for year, this is explained in Daniel 9:24 " Seventy weeks are determined upon your people. Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and the Holy City..." Daniel 9:25 "... (This was:) to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah (Jesus Christ.)..." Comparing this Seventy Weeks with History: this was 490 Years. In History you will find this building Jerusalem, and the Temple was 490 Years. This is 490 Years: Taking a Day for a Year; This is 490 Years. This verifies, and proves that a day was symbolic meaning a year. This is the way Daniel, and Revelation Figures a Day for a Year.
A MOUTH SPEAKING GREAT THINGS AND BLASPHEMIES: Revelation 13:5 " There was given unto him a mouth speaking great things. Blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months." This is 1260 Years He was given to Speak Great Blasphemies against God. At this time the Old Roman Empire played out. Constantine the Great moved the Capital of the Roman Empire to Byzantine. The Byzantine Empire was an Extension of the Roman Empire. Revelation 13:5 " There was given unto him a mouth speaking great things. That he should speak great things and blasphemies..." The 1260 Years started in 49 A. D. and went to 1309 A. D. During the 1260 Years the Pope of Rome was given this Mouth. He was given this Mouth Speaking Great Blasphemies. This Mouth was given unto Him in 325 A D. This Mouth Speaking Great Blasphemies was when Constantine called the First Council. This Council was to Settle the Arian Views of the Trinity. They Adopted the Nicene Creed: this was the Blasphemies. The Blasphemies was by setting up a Vicar of Christ, or a Christ on Earth. Thus, having another Mediator for Sin: this Blasphemies Christ. 1Timothy 2:5 "... One mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ." (One Mediator between God and Men, the Man Christ Jesus.) There is but One Mediator, as in 1Timothy. 1Timothy 2:5 " For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ." A Priest or Vicar of Christ is to Mediate for Sins: This is a False Christ, and Blasphemies Jesus Christ.
